Welcome to LATENIS. By accessing our website (latenis.com) and purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Products and Services
LATENIS sells Google Pixel smartphones pre-installed with GrapheneOS, along with privacy-focused accessories. We make every effort to display product descriptions and pricing accurately. However:
- We reserve the right to correct errors in pricing or product information.
- Product images are for illustration purposes; actual items may vary in cosmetic condition.
- All products are subject to availability.
3. Pricing and Payments
- All prices are displayed in EUR (€) and include applicable taxes under our DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping model.
- We accept credit/debit cards (via Stripe), PayPal, and select cryptocurrency payments (via BTCPay Server).
- Payment is processed at the time of order placement. If payment cannot be verified, we reserve the right to cancel the order.

6. GrapheneOS and Software
GrapheneOS is an open-source mobile operating system licensed under the MIT Licence. Important notices:
- GrapheneOS is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
- LATENIS pre-installs GrapheneOS as a convenience and does not claim ownership of the GrapheneOS software.
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the GrapheneOS project or its developers.
- You are free to modify, replace, or remove the GrapheneOS installation at any time.
- Software updates are provided by the GrapheneOS project directly and are not controlled by LATENIS.
- Removing GrapheneOS or installing alternative software may affect your warranty eligibility.
7. Device Warranty
- All devices come with a 6-month limited warranty covering manufacturing defects and hardware malfunctions under normal use.
- The warranty does not cover: physical damage, water damage, software modifications, unauthorised repairs, or normal wear and tear.
- Warranty claims must be submitted to support@latenis.com with proof of purchase and a description of the issue.
8. Intellectual Property
- The LATENIS name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of LATENIS. All rights reserved.
- All website content (text, graphics, design) is the property of LATENIS and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
9. User Conduct
When using our website, you agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or user accounts.
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the website.
- Submit false or misleading information.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- LATENIS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or website.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service in question.
- This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
- For EU/UK consumers, you retain the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence, and mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence shall apply.
- Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through direct communication with our support team. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) or, for EU consumers, to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.
12. EU Consumer Rights
For consumers in the European Union and United Kingdom, nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit any rights you have under applicable mandatory consumer protection laws, including but not limited to:
- The right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU (see our Refund Policy).
- The right to receive goods that conform with the contract under the Consumer Sales Directive.
- The right to a remedy for non-conforming goods.
